Our Code of Practice

GBA has adopted a code of practice to confirm our responsibility to ensure that students are well informed, safe and properly cared for while studying with us. 

Our code ensures that students can expect high standards of advice and care that there are clear procedures that students can follow if they have concerns about the treatment they receive from Giles Brooker Academy.

Our Code sets standards to ensure that

  • High professional standards are maintained.
  • The recruitment of students is undertaken in an ethical and responsible manner.
  • Information supplied to students is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Students are provided with information prior to entering into any commitments.
  • Contractual dealings with students are conducted in an ethical and responsible manner.
  • The particular needs of students are recognised.
  • Students are in safe accommodation (where we help organise this).
  • We have fair and equitable internal procedures for the resolution of student grievances.
