The aim is to identify and explore career opportunities in academia, industry and commerce, and government both in India and internationally, where research skills can be seen as a valued point of difference, and to identify strategies to highlight the transferable benefits of these skills to future employers.
The seminar is intended for individuals who are interested in expanding the scope of their research or exploring new career opportunities both within and beyond academia. The seminar will be useful for engineering and science graduates, Ph.D. scholars, entrepreneurs, marketing professionals, sales executives, content writers, multimedia personals, teaching professionals, independent researchers, thinkers and managers of educational institutions and NGOs.
Participants in the seminar will be expected to:
• Undertake some preparatory reading of material sent by GBA
• Participate throughout the scheduled agenda
• Engage in presentations
• Engage in group discussions
Resources will be provided for pre-seminar reading. Participants will be expected to have access to a laptop/tablet/computer to receive preparatory readings.

Yes, there will be several discussion sessions throughout the seminar. You will be able to log questions and comments during the presentations and these will be raised during the discussion sessions.
The seminar session begins at 9:00 am and end at 1:00 pm IST on the corresponding days.
We will be using Zoom Meeting. We will send you details about setting this up two days prior to the seminar.
